Thought I would share this picture of a Beautiful 7lb Brown Trout, I caught at Cave Lake on May 16th, 2009. Been trying for 3 years to pull one of these beauties out of the lake. Caught it on a jointed rapala. -Randy H Allen Bannach age 6 at Boulder City Pond, NV. -Craig Bannach

These pictures were taken in Lamoille Canyon on 3-28-09. My nephew is Justin Green of Battle Mountain (12 years old) I was pretty impressed with his shots. Hayden Daniels age 6 at the Boulder City pond - Bill Daniels Susan Rogers got this buck in area 114 during a snow storm. It pays not to sit in camp. Susan always wanted to make the book, the buck scored 166 4/8. - Russ Rogers 7 year old Aleena Dudley and her cousin 8 year old Zach Wrenfrow with 22 inch 3 LB. trout they caught & netted as a team at south fork res.

These are my Grandsons Joey and Cory. I took my first Nevada muley in 1968, but this was by far the most satisfying hunt I have ever had. - George Cramer

These are some pics from last year’s hunts. Big Jerry Butler was lucky enough to draw both antelope in the Lenard Creek area and deer (as party) in the Jarbidge area. Both hunts were fantastic, although short. Less than one day for Big Jerry to bag the antelope. For all three of us to get our deer in the Jarbidge area only required 4 days, 1 day scouting and the next day was Jerrys, the next day was Rick Chambers’s deer, ant the 4th day Big Jerry got his nice bucks. The big game season last year could not have been any better. - Jerry Butler
This is T.J. Ayers first buck. One shot at 270 yards. Taken on the 12th of OCT 2008 in unit 162. He waited for over two and one half hours for the buck to stand up so he could have a shot. - Connie Ayers Ben Crawford from Las Vegas, on Sunday Feb. 1, 2009 the last day of the youth hunt Ben and his dad watch as about ten geese came into Ben's decoys, when he was done unloading his gun (3 shots) there were three dead geese in front of him. I'd say a good morning’s hunt. – Keith Brose
A few photos from the fishing derby at City View Park in N. Las Vegas on March 7, 2009. I am the volunteer that was teaching kids to cast, there was a quiet time while the fishing was going good so Ronald Mc Donald came over to try and get more kids to try the backyard bass casting. My wife Shelly took the photos while I was helping the kids. The day was great and some of the kids that had never fished or ever held a rod were taught how to cast, and I was told at least one caught some fish it was a really fun time. - Joe Manas

Amanda Leighton's 2008 season first buck, buck taken in area 31. Amanda was assisted by her dad Tim Leighton, mom Stacy, sister Ashley and grand dad Lee. John Bellomo jr., of Las Vegas caught this hefty rainbow trout during the middle of the day with his own mixture of various PowerBaits. March 1, 2009 This is my nephew Kyle Gilbert at Sand Hill Lakes this last Christmas With his grandma behind him also ice fishing a Nevada tradition. The Rainbow was over 10 pounds. -Shaun Gilbert This awesone 2x2, 21 ½ spread buck was taken by Cody Boone, 16-years-old from Carson City on November 26, 2008 in Unit #203. I caught a 4 pound trout 21.5 inch from Masson valley Hinkson slough 2-27-09. Using a Panther Martin #6 all black red dot west side. We also caught a bunch of 12” trout as well and threw them back. -Dewayne Braden
I caught this 31.5" walleye at Lahontan last fall. But due to the extreme low water condition (that's the top of the dam in the background) we had last year it only weighed 10 lbs. The fish was in very poor condition and I was not able to successfully release it. I live in Smith Valley. I was headed out for a walk and this guy or girl was in one of our pine trees. I don't think he is endangered but he sure is scarce. We have a lot of regular owls and screech owls. -Connie P. Helm

I caught this 26 inch carp at Lorenzi Park Feb. 4, 2009 around 10 a.m. when fishing for trout. Microlite rod 4 pound test line number 6 trout hook and yellow plastic worm. Pretty excited took pictures and tape measure. Then quickly released back to the pond. Did wanted to killed. No weight was obtained. Two unknown witnesses kind enought to take my picture. LOL. - Nien Yeh
Hi there, my son, Brent Thomason took his first ever Antelope and this very unique buck in unit 142 after passing on approximately seventy five other bucks. We named him jester... The other pic was taken minutes before he settled on this one. He and Jay, my son-in-law hiked more than two miles in steep terrain from the valley floor in 100+ degrees to make the final stock and a 370 yard shot accross the canyon. Part 1: The Campbell’s successful rifle hunt in unit 031. Five out of a party of six (lady in her 80s did not harvest) harvested a nice buck. The Campbell’s are from the Laytonville, California area and have been putting in for years in Nevada. Submitted by: Dave Patula This is a photo of a group of friends that spent all night camouflaging duck blinds, putting together new decoys and having a laugh or two just so we could set out on another duck hunting adventure. this is a picture of my 2008 NV Bull. I harvested him on the day before the season closed and packed him out on the last day. Donny Atkinson shot this buck in Unit 194 with a PIW tag December 21, 2008. Donny would like to thank Ryan Monaghan for all of his help with this buck. My husband, dad Mike, and I all drew tags for 043-046. We dropped these bucks within two days of each other. All the thanks to my daddy. - Adrian Mullins
My dad Terry Walker (of Ely) caught this 22 inch 6 pound Rainbow at Illipah on the 29th of November. It's the biggest fish we've ever caught out there, we love to fish Illipah. - Aaron Walker Tommy Gleeson shows off the mule deer he havested in Area 13. This is my son Colt on his first Nevada Duck hunt. After passing up quite a few deer looking for “the big one”, 13 year old Justin Pete was thankful to take this deer while hunting in Area 7 during the 2008 season. - Wesley Pete Megan Gardner, age 15, shows off her cow elk taken in area 072 during the 2008 rifle hunt. She finally got her first elk after three days of hunting. Whats next? Trophy bull.
Here is a photo of the Nelson (desert) bighorn I was fortunate to take on 11/17/08 in unit 183. My first ever sheep Hunt. Also many thanks to friend Lou Ferrante for his help on this hunt. - Mike Maciosek Kenny Peterson's 2008 desert sheep hunt, unit 253. From left to right: Peterson, Val Nance, Neil Peterson and John Powrie. Alex and Jordan Bridgman were lucky enough to find two bucks together on the second to last day of the season in Area 212. The impressive 4x4 on the left is Alex's 3rd deer and the fork on the right is Jordan's first.
Terry Bradshaw of Henderson,NV shot this ram 11/ 16/ 2008 with buddy Chuck Yeager. David kirkwood waited 10 years to draw a Bull Elk Tag in Nevada and found out this is the only way to pack out off of Black Mountain with his 6x6 Bull. He reports he could not have done it with out the much appreciated help from his buddies Josh and Bob.

Here are my Nephew's Jake Wisdom & Bryce Hill with their 2008 Bucks. Jake is 15 and Bryce is 13. - Ross Hill Here’s Megan Sharp on her first successful youth hunt. Her family, friends and sister Mariah who was unsuccessful and missed a big one of her own, could not be more proud. Way to go Megan!
