Fishing Clinics
The Nevada Department of Wildlife offers fishing clinics through its regional angler education programs for students of all ages. All clinics require pre-registration and are subject to change or cancellation depending on weather conditions. Call the Department of Wildlife at (775) 688-1559 for northern Nevada, or (702) 486-5127 for Las Vegas and the surrounding area.

Beginners Fly Tying Classes
May 23, 2007, 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., Las Vegas NDOW office

Beginning Fly Fishing Workshops
Women’s Fly Fishing Class –
May 11 – 6pm to 8pm at the NDOW office on Vegas Drive
May 12 – 9am to 11 am at Floyd Lamb State Park
This class will cover basic information and knot tying Friday, and casting, and fishing skills on Saturday.
(Registration for this class begins April 30 at 8 a.m.).
Nevada Fishing License required
