If someone other than you will be transporting your tagged animal, they will need a transportation permit. Transportation permits are available at regional offices, from wardens in the field, and from select license agents. If you are going to take the head to a taxidermist, you need to keep the tag with the meat. |

The Application deadline for the 2005 Big Game Main Draw is Monday, April 18, 2005 by 5 p.m.
Results of the Big Game Main Draw will be available on June 17, 2005. The draw results will be available at the Wildlife Administrative Office, NDOW offices in Elko, Ely, Fallon, Las Vegas, Reno, and Winnemuccas and at www.huntnevada.com.
A second drawing will be held for all remaining quotas for deer, antelope, elk, mountain goat and subspecies of bighorn sheep in each type of hunt except for the junior hunt will be available to both resident and nonresident applicants who are eligible to apply in the second drawing. The deadline for the second drawing is 5:00 p.m., July 5, 2005 and results will be available by July 15, 2005.

Party applications for game tags are only authorized for mule deer.
Quotas
Big game quotas are set annually in May by the Nevada Wildlife Commission after NDOW biologists gather the latest information on the status of big game herds.
