2002	Continued Nevada Bull Elk Age Study During the 2002 hunting season, the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) continued its effort to age harvested bull elk. Due to limited staff and funding, only hunters who harvested bulls from Unit Group 111 – 115, 221, 222 were asked to submit elk teeth.

2001	Nevada Bull Elk Age Study During the 2001 hunting season, the Division of Wildlife conducted a bull elk aging study to evaluate the age distribution of harvested bull elk in Nevada. The study was designed to learn more about our growing elk herds and the age structure of the harvested bulls.
