NDOW GETS ONLINE WITH SOCIAL NETWORKING
Looking for the latest updates from the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW)? Now it’s easier than you think. NDOW has joined Twitter, one of the most popular of the social media websites on the Internet. By using one of these social networking sites, it is possible to get news, recreation and entertainment information – basically anything you are interested in – all at one stop. Millions of people use Twitter to keep track of goings-on in their world. By connecting to NDOW’s page on the site, you can find out about class or workshop offerings and read about recent wildlife happenings.
“You can follow NDOW on Twitter for the latest news and information updates as they happen. The link is http://twitter.com/NvDOW,” said Lynne Foster, marketing coordinator for NDOW. “We are looking into different means to connect with our constituents. We want to be where they are and communicate in a way the customer chooses.”
The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) protects, restores and manages fish and wildlife, and promotes fishing, hunting, and boating safety. NDOW’s wildlife and habitat conservation efforts are primarily funded by sportsmen’s license and conservation fees and a federal surcharge on hunting and fishing gear. Support wildlife and habitat conservation in Nevada by purchasing a hunting, fishing, or combination license. For more information, visit www.ndow.org.
