NDOW SPONSORS TROUT FISHING ON THE TRUCKEE CLINIC
The Nevada Department of Wildlife is sponsoring a trout fishing clinic on Saturday, July 18, from 8 a.m. to noon. This clinic is designed for entry level anglers and is free to all participants. The class is limited to the first 20 anglers who sign-up.
What: Class is geared for entry level anglers. We will demonstrate reading water basic spinning and fly fishing techniques for trout.
When: Saturday, July 18, 2009. Starting at 8 a.m. and ending at noon.
Where: Meeting place will be at Mayberry Park.
Sign-ups: Pre registration is required. Enrollment opens July 8, 2009. For more information call the Department of Wildlife at 688-1559.
Ages: An adult must accompany all children. Age 12 and up are required to have a valid Nevada fishing license.
Bring: Participants are requested to provide their own tackle. A limited number of rods are available for use by those who do not have their own fishing equipment. Note: A fishing license is required for those 12 years of age and older.
Cost: Free
