FALL WILDLIFE ALMANAC NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE
The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) Fall Wildlife Almanac is now available online at NDOW’s website ndow.org. Learn about the status of mountain quail in the Stillwater Range, a record breaking wiper at Lahontan Reservoir, how to prepare for your hunt, the 2009 Big Game Forecast and much more by visiting ndow.org/about/pubs/almanac/ to view it.
This year NDOW is excited to launch a new interactive publication viewer that will give readers the feeling of reading a real magazine inside their web browser. Those who wish to download and print the Wildlife Almanac may still do so by clicking the PDF link at the top of the page.
The Wildlife Almanac is a regular online publication distributed electronically to all license holders as well as wildlife enthusiasts who have subscribed to NDOW’s email Information Service. To subscribe to the free NDOW Information Service go to http://ndow.org/subs/subs.asp.
The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) protects, restores and manages fish and wildlife, promotes fishing, hunting, and boating safety. NDOW’s wildlife and habitat conservation efforts are primarily funded by sportsmen’s license and conservation fees and a federal surcharge on hunting and fishing gear. Support wildlife and habitat conservation in Nevada by purchasing a hunting, fishing, or combination license. For more information, visit www.ndow.org.
