SPORTSMEN’S CALENDAR
Outdoor enthusiasts looking for things to do and places to go may want to check out the new sportsmen’s calendar available on the Nevada Department of Wildlife website. The agency hopes the calendar will serve as a clearing house of information that will enable its customers to more easily participate in some facet of the outdoor community.
Outdoor enthusiasts can submit information about special events, such as banquets and meetings, or other activities with a simple click of the mouse. The calendar and instructions for submitting calendar information can be found on the web at www.ndow.org. From the home page click on the Learn & Participate link and follow the sportsmen’s calendar link.
The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) protects, restores and manages fish and wildlife, and promotes fishing, hunting, and boating safety. NDOW’s wildlife and habitat conservation efforts are primarily funded by sportsmen’s license and conservation fees and a federal surcharge on hunting and fishing gear. Support wildlife and habitat conservation in Nevada by purchasing a hunting, fishing, or combination license. For more information, visit www.ndow.org
